Rosehip is one of the best known and most popular immunostimulants, with a vitamin C content 10 times higher than that of lemon. Vitamin C enhances the body's resistance, flavonoids have anti-inflammatory and antibiotic effects, and pectins contribute to the proper functioning of digestion. Some research has shown that rosehip fruit activates the gene responsible for cartilage formation and collagen formation in our body.

By consuming seed meal, the vitamins, minerals, trace elements and other valuable active ingredients found in plants enter our body naturally. In this way, they contribute more effectively to maintaining our health. It can be consumed with yoghurt and juice, it tastes pleasant and sour. We also recommend it for making cakes.

Recommended as an additive, maximum content recomended for base flour 20%

All by-products generated during the production of Grapoila products are 100% recovered, nothing is wasted.

From the very beginning, when founding the company, environmental protection was important to us. With the idea of producing a high quality, wholesome food from natural ingredients, it was our intention to create value from what others have condemned to discard. Grape marc is a waste of wineries, previously used for maximum animal feed, yet we saw the treasure-bearing grape seed with excellent physiological effects and quality oil more than 10 years ago. With this first raw material, the production of Zero Waste of Grapoila cold-pressed oils began.

During Zero Waste production, all parts of the incoming raw materials are processed, nothing is thrown away. In the case of grape marc, the grape skins rich in bioactive substances are separated from the seed and ground after drying. The ground packaged in this way can be used to flavor cakes and creams. The seeds are also dried, and then oil is pressed from them - without heat treatment and additives - on our own presses. The cold-pressed oils thus obtained are high-nutrition, healthy foods or cosmetic oils that are bottled in dark bottles.

The sediment formed before filtering the freshly pressed oil is the oil sludge, which, like the oil, is rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins, but also contains microparticles of the seeds. It is sold in the form of gourmet cream or cosmetic mud, depending on its nature.

From the “dry residue” of oil pressing, pellets, which are low in fat and carbohydrates but very rich in vegetable protein, vitamins and other nutrients, are ground into gluten-free flours, which are excellent baking additives. Pellets are also very popular among animal feed manufacturers, so we sell them to them for further use.

Because we use only natural ingredients, the few by-products that we might not otherwise be able to utilize are dried to feed, flower soil, compost, or fuel. The latter, together with any green waste, is placed in a biomass boiler that heats the drying system, thus closing the circuit. We also take environmental considerations into account when maintaining the plant. We mainly use air generated by a compressor for cleaning. For wiping, we rent wipes from a company who extract the oil from the used rag to heat their laundry and get clean again. The components are cleaned with a bio-sink system containing cleaning microorganisms that biodegrade fats and oils.

With “Zero Waste” production, we reduce our ecological footprint, are more environmentally conscious, and at the same time reduce costs.
