Flaxseed is a rich source of fiber, protein and minerals, a superfood in our region.

Its phytoestrogen content (lignan) has a good effect on hormonal homeostasis, promotes ovulation and can reduce the unpleasant symptoms of menopause.

Consumption of flax seeds in its entirety facilitates intestinal function, aids digestion, while nutrients are less able to be absorbed because the seeds often pass through the gastrointestinal tract as a whole. However, valuable nutrients can already be absorbed and utilized from flaxseed meal. Flaxseed meal reduces gastric acid production.

We can exchange a part of the traditional flour with it, or we can eat it mixed with salad, muesli or cottage cheese, we can add it to the dough of pastries and scones, we can sprinkle it on top. It is also suitable for compaction as it can absorb large amounts of liquids and fats. When mixed with sesame flour, it protects the teeth.
