FitFood Purely Sweet Acesulfame-K, 100% pure concentrated sweetener

FitFood Purely Sweet is a range of products that include pure sweeteners in a concentrated form - without loose fillers (such as inulin or maltodextrin), or a liquid base (glycerin or its aqueous solution is most commonly used).

The FitFood Purely Sweet series is dedicated to people familiar with the methods of using highly concentrated sweeteners who have experience in their skillful dosing, taking into account the unusual intensity of sweets, exceeding sugar sweetness several hundred times.

Concentrated pure sweeteners are particularly useful as an ingredient in proprietary sweeteners based on erythrole, xylitol, inulin, isomalt or tagatose, with the addition of an selected intensive sweetener or a mixture of several such substances, they also work well as an addition to desserts, ice cream or sweets, or as component that modifies finished products - e.g. a sweetener addition to a not-so-sweet protein supplement.

Acesulfame-K (E-950) is classified as a group of non-nutritious intensively sweeteners and is 200 times sweeter than table sugar - a 25g pack corresponds to the sweetness of 5kg of sugar, but because in higher concentrations the sweetness of acesulfame acquires a metallic bitter aftertaste, in order to eliminate it in order to achieve sweetness, as close as possible to sugar taste, acesulfame is combined with other sweeteners, most often it is co-occurring with aspartame and cyclamates, which have a synergistic effect (i.e. their combined sweetness is more intense than the sum of the sweets used separately).

The suggested maximum concentration of acesulfame is 1000mg in 1kg or 1L of ready dish. Acesulfame-K does not increase the calorie content of food products, is characterized by high chemical stability both at low pH and high temperatures, sweeteners based on it and acesulfame itself can be used for baking and cooking. In finished products, acesulfame is used primarily to sweeten carbonated drinks, sugar-free sweets, chewing gums and dairy products (mousses, yoghurts).

Aesulfame ADI (acceptable daily intake) is up to 9-15mg per 1kg body weight per day.
