Aromatically low-carbohydrate cheese croutons contain over 30% protein and almost 30% fiber. They are perfectly crunchy and delicate, their simple ingredients guarantee a true Italian flavor. Crostino Cheese also works very well as a low-carbohydrate replacement for traditional bread.
Traditional Italian crostini are small sandwiches often served as a snack - they are often confused with bruschetta, but the similarity is apparent, because while bruschetta is prepared from sourdough bread, crostini is more delicate, because it is prepared from white bread or diced into oblique slices ciabatta - such bread is usually served as a dry sandwich, rubbed with olive oil and garlic, served with mozzarella, tomatoes and ripening Parma ham, in a more sophisticated version at elegant receptions, crostini is sometimes served with goat cheese, figs and honey.
