Recipes using Cream of Rice rice gruel

Banana Protein Shake with Rice Glue:
1 scoop of Cream of Rice
1 cup of milk (can be plant-based)
1 ripe banana
1 tablespoon of peanut butter
1 teaspoon of honey, flavoring or sweetener
1 scoop of whey protein
Berries for decoration
Cook Cream of Rice in milk according to the instructions on the package.
In a separate bowl, mix banana, peanut butter, honey and whey protein.
Once the Cream of Rice is cooked, add the banana mixture and mix thoroughly.
Serve sprinkled with berries.
Rice gruel with raspberries and almonds:
1 scoop of Cream of Rice
1 cup of milk (can be plant-based)
Fresh raspberries
2 tablespoons of almond flakes
1 teaspoon of honey, flavoring or sweetener
1 tablespoon egg white (optional)
Cook Cream of Rice in milk according to instructions.
Mix raspberries and almond flakes.
Once the Cream of Rice is cooked, serve with raspberries, almond flakes, honey and optional egg white.
Protein Rice Glue Cookies:
2 scoops of Cream of Rice
1 cup of milk (can be plant-based)
1/2 cup egg white
1/4 cup of honey or peanut butter
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup dried fruit (e.g. raisins)
Cook Cream of Rice in milk and then set aside to cool.
Add egg white, honey, chopped nuts and dried fruits to the cooked rice gruel.
Form small cakes from the mixture and place on a baking tray.
Bake in the preheated oven according to the instructions on the egg white package until the cookies are golden brown.
