Banana Protein Shake with Cream of Rice:
- 1 scoop of Cream of Rice
- 1 cup of milk (can be plant-based)
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon honey, flavoring or sweetener
- 1 scoop of whey protein
- Berries for garnish
- Cook Cream of Rice in milk according to instructions on package.
- In a separate bowl, blend the banana, peanut butter, honey and whey protein.
- Once Cream of Rice is cooked, add the banana mixture and mix thoroughly.
- Serve sprinkled with berries.
Cream of Rice with Raspberries and Almonds:
- 1 scoop Cream of Rice
- 1 cup of milk (can be plant-based)
- Fresh raspberries
- 2 tablespoons of almond flakes
- 1 teaspoon honey, flavoring or sweetener
- 1 Tbsp egg white (optional)
- Cook Cream of Rice in milk according to instructions.
- Stir in the raspberries and almond flakes.
- Once Cream of Rice is cooked, serve with raspberries, almond flakes, honey and optional egg white.
Protein Rice Cake Cookies:
- 2 scoops of Cream of Rice
- 1 cup of milk (can be plant-based)
- 1/2 cup of egg white
- 1/4 cup honey or peanut butter
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup dried fruit (such as raisins)
- Cook Cream of Rice in milk, then set aside to cool.
- Add egg white, honey, chopped nuts and dried fruit to the cooked rice gruel.
- Form small cakes from the mixture and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven according to the instructions on the egg white package until the cookies are browned.
