If you remember the first version of LoCCo creams, you'll notice a few changes. The most important one? The new recipe maintained virtually identical calorie content but became even more refined. The cream is distinctly thicker, more compact, and adheres even better to pancakes, waffles, or oatmeal, while the manufacturer completely eliminated maltitol. The new formula uses only erythritol and steviol glycosides from stevia as a source of sweetness.
LoCCo 8 Calorie Spread Milk Chocolate is an option for those who seek the taste of classic milk chocolate but in a significantly lighter version. Delicate milky notes, subtle cocoa, and pleasant creamy sweetness dominate, creating a taste reminiscent of milk chocolate melting in your mouth. It's milder and creamier than the Chocolate-Hazelnut variant – devoid of nutty notes, allowing full attention to be given to the velvety character of milk chocolate.
What has changed in the new LoCCo formula?
The biggest change is the recipe. The manufacturer has abandoned maltitol and sucralose, replacing them with a combination of erythritol and steviol glycosides. At the same time, it managed to maintain virtually identical calorie content – approximately 150 kcal per 100 g of product. However, the consistency has changed. The new version is even thicker and creamier, making it perfect as both a spread and an ingredient for desserts or baked goods.
The base of the cream remains water and inulin – a natural dietary fiber responsible for its structure and high fiber content. A small addition of cocoa creates the characteristic taste of milk chocolate, while milk ingredients give the cream a uniquely mild, creamy profile. The result is a dessert cream that maintains full flavor with a very low-fat content.

LoCCo Milk Chocolate proves that a milk chocolate flavored cream doesn't have to be a calorie bomb. 100 g of the product provides only 150 kcal and just 2.4 g of fat, and one teaspoon (5 g) is approximately 8 kcal. At the same time, the cream contains as much as 17 g of fiber per 100 g thanks to its high inulin content.
It tastes excellent with pancakes, waffles, toast, omelets, oatmeal, and rice puddings. It pairs wonderfully with yogurts, high-protein cottage cheeses, and homemade protein ice cream.
