Carley's almond butter is made in the process of cold grinding almonds previously baked with the skin - thanks to this, almond butter has a unique, delicious taste.

Carley's Almond Butter is made from certified organic almonds and ground in a traditional Cornish mechanical press. Carley's manufacture does not use refined fats, any form of palm oil, emulsifiers or any other artificial ingredients.

Raw almond butter vs. roasted almond butter - what's the difference?

Ground almond butter with skin has a slightly different flavor compared to blanched almond butter. Almond butter with skin has a more intense and distinctive flavor. Almond skin brings a slight bitterness and nutty notes to the butter, which can give it a deeper flavor compared to blanched almond butter, which is typically milder. Almonds with the skin contain films that can affect the texture of the butter. Peeled almond butter has a slightly coarser grain compared to blanched almond butter, which is typically smooth and uniform. By the same token, skinned almond butter is darker in color due to the presence of the skin and is actually speckled, while blanched almond butter tends to be lighter in color.

When it comes to the petals themselves (because almonds, botanically speaking, are fruit seeds, not nuts!), skinned almonds have several advantages compared to peeled almonds:
