ButtaNutt Roasted Peanut Butter is 100% dry roasted peanut butter from South Africa - and nothing else, because the beauty of the authentic real taste does not require additions. Butter is made from lightly roasted nuts, which allows to bring out their aroma, ground in a stone press into cream. Butter has a thick, velvety texture, is incredibly aromatic and is a sophisticated addition to dishes, both savory and sweet, this highly nutritious butter is healthy and tastes great on its own.
Peanuts are one of the best sources of oleic acid among nuts. Varieties such as Valencia, Runner and Virginia are generally known for their high oleic acid content. These varieties tend to contain more oleic acid compared to other varieties. Oleic acid belongs to the group of omega-9 unsaturated fatty acids. It is a monounsaturated fat that is present in large amounts in olive oil and vegetable butters, including peanut butter. Oleic acid is beneficial for health as it helps in lowering bad cholesterol (LDL) and increasing good cholesterol (HDL).
